Job Purpose/Role:

The Internal Wholesaler (IW) will partner with External Wholesalers to represent a carrier partner and educate and assist financial professionals in incorporating its financial products into their business and with their clients. The IW will handle service issues and sales/marketing tasks identified by their manager and/or external partner. Additionally, the IW will work to enhance and reinforce the carrier partner brand through superior service.

Compensation Structure

  • Base Compensation: $22 per hour ($50,000 per year factoring in Overtime)

  • Variable Compensation: in addition to the base salary, measured by Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

In their first year, Internal Wholesalers can expect to earn, in total, between $60,000 and $80,000. In addition, we also offer a Level Up Program that also opens up additional Variable Compensation opportunities as Internal Wholesalers progress into their second and third years with WealthVest.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the central point and link between the External Wholesaler, the financial professional, and the organization.

  • Work closely with multiple financial professionals to understand their needs and identify the best possible solutions for their clients daily.

  • Coordinate with our marketing department to ensure that financial professionals have everything they need once the engagement has started.

  • Provide input into our processes and tools, as well as work on special projects to support WealthVest and the carrier partner in their pursuit of continuous improvement.

  • Meet or exceed key performance indicators (KPIs) such as outbound calls and sales presentations.

  • Provide sufficient phone coverage as a team during business hours.

  • Develop insurance and product knowledge to effectively position solutions with financial professionals.

  • Build an understanding of key competitors and develop the ability to position our offering effectively against them.

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of SalesForce.com.

  • Partner with both External Wholesalers and Marketing to serve our clients—financial professionals—to ensure their success.

Key Requirements, Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelors Degree Required. Major or minor in one or more of the following preferred: Finance, Business (Administration, Management, or other), Education, Economics, Psychology.

  • Thrive in a fast-moving, high-performance environment with tight deadlines and shifting priorities.

  • Motivated and flexible with a "can-do" attitude—this is not a role for those who require rigid structure or hand-holding.

  • Must be able to work full-time, in-person from our office in Bozeman, Montana.
